The return of WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is reportedly imminent, and it was originally planned to happen on the June 13 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. According to a report from WrestleVotes Radio, Stratus’s return is “right around the corner.”
“We are told the return of Trish Stratus is also right around the corner, as the announcement of her return was planned and scripted into the 6/13 episode of Friday night SmackDown,” WrestleVotes reported. “According to a source, the announcement of her return and accompanying graphics were set to air prior to John Cena’s second promo of the night.”
While the announcement was obviously pulled from the broadcast, the plan to bring her back is still active, with the upcoming all-women’s Evolution premium live event being the likely destination.
