There have been rumors going around about Shinsuke Nakamura and Kazuchika Okada getting tryouts with WWE in Tokyo, Japan. It sounds ridiculous that they would even need to get a tryout but the word is that they are holding tryouts so it’s possible that they could be part of the group of wrestlers being looked at by management. If they get signed then it would be a huge blow to New Japan Pro Wrestling. Both men are huge names in Japan and both are among the top wrestlers in the world.
It should be noted that this is not a confirmed rumor as far as I could tell, the first mention of the rumor was from the account shown below. Both men wrestled on the Korakuen Hall show today in Osaka (about 5 hours away) so I don’t see how they would have been able to get a tryout today in Tokyo.
Wishing Okada and Nakamura well in their WWE tryout.

UPDATE: A WWE source has confirmed that this rumor is false. Both men are under contract to New Japan Pro Wrestling and would not be free to try out for WWE without permission from NJPW.
