WWE is scheduled to air Monday Night Raw on September 9th and SmackDown Live on September 10th at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
WWE announced the news last week and MSG officially announced more information on the event on Monday morning. This marks the first time in ten years that WWE has aired one of their television programs from the arena as they last aired Raw in 2009.
Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre is advertised to take place at the Raw TV event. While MSG still lists Rollins as the Universal Champion, the ad is wrong as he lost the strap to Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules.
For the SmackDown Live event, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton is advertised. Both matches are likely dark matches.
Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Rey Mysterio, Dolph Ziggler, Lacey Evans, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley, Baron Corbin, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Cesaro, Ricochet, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, and The Usos are slated to appear at the events.
