Two matches set for next week’s WWE Monday Night Raw

Next week’s edition of Monday Night Raw will primarily focus on the Superstar Shake-Up but they have also announced two matches.

Sasha Banks vs. Bayley and The Revival vs. Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt are set for next week. The Banks/Bayley match looks to be a set up for a pay-per-view match, likely at Backlash.

The Revival vs. Hardy/Wyatt match is one of the finals matches of the “tag team eliminator” tournament. Yes, apparently WWE has replaced the word “tournament” with “eliminator” for some reason. The tournament was set up after Braun Strowman and 10-year old Nicholas vacated the Raw Tag Team Championships. New champions will be crowned at The Greatest Royal Rumble show in Saudi Arabia.

It’s still not clear if Sasha Banks is the heel in her feud with Bayley. This week on Raw, it seemed like Bayley was acting heelish when she went down to ringside and later accidentally clotheslined Banks. As first noted a couple of weeks ago by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the original plan for this storyline was for Bayley to turn heel. It looks like that is still a possibility.

Wyatt seems to have turned babyface and was also friendly with Jeff Hardy in a backstage segment.
