Impact Wrestling is going through a transition which is no new thing for them. In all honesty, they’ve kind of been in transition in one way or another since 2002.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that since James Storm left Impact Wrestling because they weren’t going to renew his high guaranteed money contract that other people with deals in the similar vein will likely be leaving soon as well.
It is reported that they “next people to watch out for” would be people like Bobby Lashley and Ethan Carter III.
EC3 and Bobby Lashley have both had dealings with WWE in the past. Of course, Lashley’s involvement was much greater. But there’s still probably something WWE could do with either of these talented individuals. With guys like Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and Bobby Roode around who can vouch for their talents, who knows if we’ll be seeing Carter or Lashley knocking on WWE’s door sooner or later… then again it could always be the other way around because either of these guys could make fine additions to the WWE or NXT locker room.
