Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have been working towards signing with a promotion in the United States.
It appears that hard work will pay off as Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that the former WWE stars are close to finalizing deals in the States. Per the report, Impact Wrestling could be their next destination as the promotion has been heavily pursuing the tag team in order for them to appear at Slammiversary.
Impact reportedly offered Gallows and Anderson incredibly strong deals that would also allow them to work with New Japan once that’s a possibility. Dave Meltzer first reported that Anderson and Gallows were looking to make separate deals in the United States and internationally. A deal with NJPW and a potential deal in the US that was believed to be with Impact.
Impact VP Scott D’Amore has a long history with both Anderson and Gallows, which makes this deal even more possible.
Impact has been airing advertisements for the Slammiversary PPV event for weeks now that features former TNA stars who were released from WWE back in April. Gallows and Anderson are part of the videos. Impact has also been teasing the arrival of a former World champion.
As noted, Gallows and Anderson will make their official announcements regarding their future plans on July 18th. This is when their no-compete clauses with WWE are up.
