Two stars added to women’s Royal Rumble match

Two WWE stars have been added to the women’s Royal Rumble match at the first pay-per-view event of the new year for the company. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville are those stars who have been confirmed to compete in the annual match that sees the winner take the road to WrestleMania 35.

While backstage at Saturday’s SmackDown live event, the two stars that compete on the blue brand made it official. WWE will be announcing more competitors for this contest in the coming weeks.

The inaugural women’s Royal Rumble match was won by Asuka last year that saw her make the trip to WrestleMania 34 where she was ultimately unsuccessful in her championship bout against Charlotte Flair.

The Royal Rumble pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, January 27, 2019 in Phoenix, Arizona at Chase Field. Here is the updated Royal Rumble card:
