Two Title Matches, Last Man Standing Bout Set For WWE SmackDown

Tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the final show before this weekend’s Crown Jewel premium live event, is a loaded, international show emanating from the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. The go-home show will feature two championship matches, a Last Man Standing match to settle a rivalry, and a tag team encounter.

For the sixth consecutive week, the fighting United States Champion, Sami Zayn, will issue an open challenge for his title. Since re-instituting the open challenge, Zayn has had a string of incredible matches against the likes of John Cena and Carmelo Hayes, and it remains to be seen who will step up to answer the call in Perth.

The WWE Tag Team Championships will also be on the line, as the champions, The Wyatt Sicks (Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis), will defend their titles against the former champions, The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins). With a rumored rift between Ford and Dawkins, this could be their last chance to regain the gold and the potential site of a heel turn.

In a tag team match, the WWE Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton, will team up with the Women’s World Champion, Stephanie Vaquer, to take on the duo of the Women’s United States Champion, Giulia, and her associate, Kiana James. This match will serve as a preview for the Crown Jewel encounter between Stratton and Vaquer.

Also on the card, the rivalry between Damian Priest and Aleister Black will finally come to a head in a Last Man Standing match. The two men have traded victories in recent months, and this final encounter will determine, once and for all, who the better man is.
