WWE is considering bringing two NXT stars up to the main roster and that’s Xyon Quinn and Sanaga. On Tuesday’s episode of NXT 2.0, Sanaga beat Quinn in a singles match.
On today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Melter said both stars on the radar of management and WWE officials think Quinn is the total package, which is a positive sign for his future. It’s unclear what the plan is for them if they’re called up or what brand they will be part of.
“I’ll tell ya what, both of those guys (Sanga and Quinn) are being considered for the main roster right now. Yeah, they think he (Quinn) is the total package.”
Quinn signed with WWE in 2018 before making his NXT television debut in August 2020. He did work an episode of SmackDown by being an enhancement talent where he lost to Sheamus before his NXT debut.
Sanga was also signed by WWE in 2018, but he had prior experience as he was involved in TNA’s Indian Project Ring Ka King. He made his NXT debut in 2020 working as one half of Indus Sher and they later had a run on the main roster while working with Jinder Mahal. In January he returned to NXT.
