Two WWE Stars Involved In Separate Incidents Involving Disrespectful Fans

WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer responded on X to a fan who she said followed her, said hurtful things, and made her feel uncomfortable after she politely asked to be left alone on her birthday.

Vaquer said she always stops for fans and is kind to them. She said the day before was her birthday and she was having a bad day. She said she politely asked for understanding and many people respected that, but this particular fan did not.

“You followed me for a long time, saying hurtful things and making me feel uncomfortable,” Vaquer wrote. “I told you no multiple times, and you kept following me and recording. And now you’re posting this on social media. It’s sad to see people like you call themselves fans.”

Vaquer’s post came after the fan posted video of the encounter on social media, apparently framing it as Vaquer being rude to them.

The incident follows a separate fan encounter (see the video below) at Monday’s Raw at Madison Square Garden where a fan reached over the barricade and grabbed Liv Morgan’s arm as she made her entrance for a promo segment. Fan footage of the moment quickly went viral on social media. Morgan pulled her arm back and continued walking to the ring without stopping. Fan reports indicated that the cameraman and security warned the fan not to do it again.

Both incidents have reignited discussion about fan boundaries at wrestling events and on the road. Plain and simple…fans do not have the right to touch wrestlers.

Vaquer and Morgan face each other for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42 on April 18 or 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
