Two WWE Superstars returning on Smackdown Live

The injury to Erick Rowan has caused WWE to change whatever plans they had for The Bludgeon Brothers. As noted a few days ago, Rowan and Luke Harper were not scheduled to lose the Smackdown Tag Team Championships last week until the injury forced them to change course.

It was announced on Sunday by Smackdown General Manager Paige that a Triple Threat Match will take place on Tuesday night. The teams who will compete are The Bar, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson and The Colons. This will be the first of two Triple Threat tag team matches with the winners from each match competing against each other. The winner of that match will get a tag team title shot against the New Day at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view.

The Colons tag team hasn’t wrestled since January after Epico went down with a shoulder injury. Primo has wrestled on a handful of live events in recent months but he’s been kept off TV for most of this year.

No word yet on which teams will be competing in the other Triple Thrmatchmath.
