Two WWE WrestleMania matches have been canceled

WWE has made the decision to cancel at least two WrestleMania matches.

Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that the Andre The Giant Battle Royal and Women’s WrestleMania Battle Royal will not happen because of the social distancing issue that would arise because of the coronavirus.

The CDC is advising against larger gatherings, which essentially makes it impossible for them to have matches with more than a handful of people in the ring at the same time.

WWE has taken several steps to ensure the safety of its performers, including temperature checks before entering the Performance Center.

WrestleMania will be spit into a two-night event with matches airing on Saturday, April 4th and Sunday, April 5th from multiple locations.

WWE has not said anything about a taping schedule but the word going around is that both Mania shows will be taped ahead of time.
