It all started when Cyborg responded to a post that Becky Lynch shared on her official Twitter account of Rousey and her husband Travis Browne. This led to Cyborg posting a funny line in the caption of this photo. She wrote the following, “Be careful she might refuse to go to work and retire.”

For years now, Cyborg has wanted to face the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion inside of the Octagon but that fight never took place as when Cyborg started fighting under the UFC banner, Rousey only fought one more time before retiring. Rousey’s last fight under the UFC banner came against UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes in December 2016 where she lost in the first round by knockout.
Rousey will defend her Raw Women’s Title against Lynch and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 35 on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium.
