The United States Championship match is set for this year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
During this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, it was announced that Shinsuke Nakamura will get his U.S. Title rematch against Nakamura at the Rumble. Rusev won the title on the Christmas Day episode of SmackDown Live.
Rusev and Nakamura’s feud has continued in recent weeks and last week Nakamura blamed Rusev for Lana crashing to the ringside floor a couple of weeks ago.
