Update on Alexa Bliss, reason why she was pulled from WWE Money In The Bank

As noted earlier, WWE has announced that Alexa Bliss has been pulled from Sunday’s Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match. WWE noted that she was not medically cleared to compete.

It is also worth noting that Bliss was advertised to wrestle on Raw on Monday but she was replaced by Nikki Cross. She flew with the crew for the European tour but she has not wrestled on any of those shows.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that Bliss was pulled for an unspecified injury. He was told that the injury is not serious and the decision to pull her out of Sunday’s match was a precautionary move because they did not want to take any risks, especially with a ladder match.

NOTE: A WWE source just reached out to me that the decision to pull her from the PPV is concussion-related.

There is no word yet on who will replace her on Sunday but a decision will be made sometime today.
