Alexa Bliss is not cleared to compete on Sunday at the WWE Evolution pay-per-view but Mickie James says she will be there. For those of you that missed it, Bliss suffered a concussion at a live event on Saturday night but James sounded optimistic about Bliss’ status when she was on Sirius XM’s Busted Open Radio this week.
James said, “She’ll definitely be there on Sunday and I know she’s doing better. I try to talk to her every day.”
“We all know this isn’t ballet and it comes with the territory.” James added, “I have no doubts that regardless, we’re all going to be out there and it’s gonna be amazing. It will be a pretty historic moment especially for women’s wrestling and it’s gonna be great.”
The back-up plan is for Alicia Fox to take Bliss’ spot in the match on Sunday if she is not cleared. That is why it was Fox and James who attacked Trish Stratus and Lita on Raw.

James was asked who would fit in the previous generation’s locker room. James said Bayley would fit in with the previous generation because she loves wrestling so much and she wants to do what is best for the match. She said Bayley is fun to hang out with.
James said she would love to do a long-term storyline with Bayley, Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss.
