Last week, it was reported by PWInsider that Bruce Prichard was brought back to be part of the creative team in a high position as Vince McMahon’s right-hand man. The story was overstated, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer website. We reached out to a WWE source to confirm this and we were told the same thing.
Prichard has been working with the company since late January as a consultant and he is still in that role as of this week but he is not officially part of the writing team.
For those of you that have asked, Prichard’s “Something To Wrestling With” podcast with Conrad Thompson will continue and his upcoming shows are not affected by his new affiliation with WWE.
