The first SmackDown Live with Eric Bischoff in charge (Vince McMahon with the final say) will be this Tuesday night in Worcester, MA.
Bischoff and his wife are moving to Stamford, CT this week because he will be needed by company headquarters for meetings.
Dave Meltzer reported this week that people within the company and the creative team have been told nothing and Bischoff’s name hasn’t come up and most people in the company only know what they’ve read online so it will be interesting to see how things play out this week.
Bischoff will not be at Extreme Rules on Sunday because he will still be driving. He recently noted that it’s a 2,000-mile drive from Arizona to Stamford, CT so don’t expect him to be involved with anything until Tuesday night.
