As noted, Vince McMahon named Stephanie McMahon the commissioner of RAW and Shane McMahon the commissioner of SmackDown. Vince also stated that both Stephanie and Shane would have to pick a GM for their brands, and the GM’s would be revealed in the opening segment of tonight’s RAW. WWE’s app spoiled who will be the GM of SmackDown, which is Daniel Bryan.
Bryan is backstage at tonight’s RAW and will appear on SmackDown tomorrow night. As of this writing, the identity of the RAW GM is not known, but PWinsider is reporting that there has been no talk of WWE bringing in an outside name for the role.
