Update on how much money USA Network is paying WWE for NXT TV rights fees

More details regarding how much money USA Network is paying WWE for NXT TV rights fees has surfaced online.

Although the original estimate of the TV was $50 million per year, that isn’t the case. Instead, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the number is $60 million over two years, which would be $30 million a year or $600,000 a week.

The original estimate meant over two years, not one year. He added that the money is still enough for NXT to be profitable, so the fees will be more than enough to cover production costs.

WWE officially announced that NXT will be airing on the USA Network starting Wednesday, September 18th. The show will air live weekly 2-hour shows every Wednesday night

As noted, WWE has canceled the scheduled NXT TV tapings on September 11 and 12 in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University.

Fans who had purchased tickets to these tapings where they noted that tickets on September 11 will be honored on September 18 and tickets for September 12 will be honored on September 25.
