Update on Kairi Sane’s status for WWE Monday Night Raw

It appears that plans continue to change for Kairi Sane on WWE television.

Last week, it was reported that Sane is expected to leave WWE soon so she could be with her husband in Japan. For more on that, click here.

On Friday night, WWE announced a Champion vs. Champion match featuring Raw Women’s Champion Asuka vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley for Monday’s episode of Raw.

The original graphic featured Sasha Banks standing behind Bayley while Sane was behind Asuka. Then, WWE removed Sane from the graphic that led to fans thinking that the WWE star wouldn’t be appearing on the show due to her impending departure from the company.

Fast forward to today, WWE is once again advertising Sane for the show, as seen below:

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on why she was removed only to be later added to the graphic. It’s been known for years that plans change all of the time in WWE and perhaps this was just that.

Here’s the graphic that featured Sane not being featured:

Should Sane appear on the show tonight then it will mark her first appearance on WWE television since the May 26th episode of Raw that saw her take on Nia Jax. Of course, this was the infamous match that saw Jax send Sane head first into the steel steps that resulted in her being busted open.
