Lars Sullivan may have lost out on a match with John Cena at WrestleMania, but he is in “a good place,” according to a report on Pro Wrestling Sheet.
As most of you know by now, Sullivan was supposed to debut on the main roster in January and he was supposed to attack Cena and that would have taken him out of the Royal Rumble. What ended up happening was Sullivan suffered an anxiety attack and flew home before he could make his debut on Monday Night Raw.
We previously reported that WWE officials have been understanding of his situation and he is welcome to return when he is ready. One source told us that they’ve learned more about mental health after the issues with Mauro Ranallo and they may not have been as accepting if these issues came up a decade ago because there wasn’t as much awareness as there is now. Times have changed and the company is doing more to work with talent whenever something like this comes up.
There is still no word on when he will return to the ring but we have heard there’s a decent chance he could be part of this year’s Andre The Giant memorial battle royal.
