WWE Superstar Lars Sullivan appears to be close to returning to action.
In a video posted on his Instagram account, he can be seen doing leg raises, which is a good sign because the reason why he’s been out of the ring is that he was dealing with a knee injury. Sullivan underwent knee surgery in June.
Sullivan was initially scheduled to start on the main roster in January and the plan was for him to attack John Cena. That would lead to a WrestleMania match. However, those plans were scrapped when Sullivan flew home after an anxiety attack.
Plans were delayed again when controversial comments on race, women, and religion surfaced on social media. The comments were made years ago on a bodybuilding forum. Sullivan has admitted that he said somethings years ago and says that he is a different person these days and what he said does not reflect the person he is today.
Sullivan debuted on the night after WrestleMania 35. In subsequent weeks, he attacked Lucha House Party, Matt Hardy, Kurt Angle, and others. His push was stalled due to the knee issues.
