Update on Sasha Banks, Bayley also unhappy with WWE

It certainly looks like Sasha Banks is set on leaving WWE and it looks like tag team partner Bayley is also not happy with her spot in the company.

Ryan Satin is reporting that Banks and Bayley were laying on the locker room floor on Sunday and back at the hotel in front of their rooms and they could be heard expressing their frustration.

Satin said they were making it loudly known that they were not happy about losing the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

One source told us that Banks and Bayley were in in the happiest mood in recent weeks, especially because they were expecting to defend their titles on NXT but that changed when Vince McMahon decided to put the titles on The IIconics.

Satin added that he heard the locker room/hotel story from four different company sources in the past day.

I was told that Banks has been vocal in the past about the creative direction but her unhappiness with the company has never been as bad as this week. The same applies to Bayley but sources told me she hasn’t been as vocal as Banks has been in the past.

All of this follows the cryptic tweets from Banks and her decision to pull out of “The Wendy Williams Show,” an appearance that was set up by WWE. Banks is currently on vacation with her husband, Sarath Ton, in the Dominican Republic.

Ton sent out a cryptic tweet earlier today that only adds to speculation that Banks may be done with WWE. I don’t know what her contract status is but it’s worth noting again that she unfollowed the Vince McMahon and the official WWE account and she is now following AEW and associated Twitter accounts. With WWE, it’s never a guarantee that they will grant an early release but they have made exceptions in the past. In the case of Banks and Bayley, I can’t imagine they would want to let them go because they would surely garner interest from AEW and other promotions.
