Update on Sasha Banks’ status for WWE Evolution

ORIGINAL: With WWE’s historic Evolution pay-per-view right around the corner, many fans are wondering if Sasha Banks will be ready to go for the event. Banks has reportedly been dealing with an injury over the past several weeks, however, WWE is keeping under wraps what exactly it is “The Legit Boss” is going through.

In regards to her Evolution status, it looks like Banks might be able to compete on the card. WWE’s website is currently advertising Banks for a live event in Portland, Maine on Saturday, October 20th. That’s just eight days before Evolution on October 28th. Banks isn’t being advertised for any other live events the weekend of the 20th, however.

That includes the WWE Supershow from her hometown of Boston. Banks was pulled from in-ring competition on September 21st and was removed from the second season of the Mixed Match Challenge as well. She was initially expected to team with Bobby Lashley, however, she was replaced by Mickie James.

Her appearance on MTV’s “Ridiculousness” was also cancelled, with SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch replacing her instead.
