As noted earlier this week, Scott Hall was escorted from a show in Asbury Park, NJ over the weekend after he appeared to be drunk. Hall was said to be wasted earlier in the day for a meet and greet. He was booked on shows for 6/20 and 621 but he has been pulled.
The promoter for the show from this past weekend was quoted as saying, “We will no longer be associated with him until he gets his life in order.” It’s a shame to hear stuff like this because it looked like Hall was in a good place in his life and WWE seemed to be more open to doing stuff with him. If it were two years ago, they would have not even considered him for the Hall of Fame or being part of WrestleMania like he was this year.
People close to Hall say that he was given drinks by people associated with the band that was performing at the event he was at this past weekend. Supposedly Hall was fine the next morning when he left. The Wrestling Observer newsletter noted that Hall, according to reports, was not doing so well even before the TMZ story got out earlier this week.
