Update on the CM Punk/Colt Cabana lawsuit, Scott Hall at the Performance Center

The Chicago Sun Times is reporting that the lawsuit filed by WWE doctor Chris Amann is actually $2 million in damages and not $1 million as originally reported. The story recaps some of what was said on the podcast and noted that the lump on CM Punk’s back was there for three months before Amann noticed it. They noted that Punk said on Colt Cabana’s podcast that Amann “should be dead.”

The lawsuit is claiming defamation and invasion of privacy against Punk and Cabana. I could be wrong here but I don’t know how that will hold up in court considering the fact that Amann is featured on WWE television and on the company website when issuing injury updates. He was featured on this week’s NXT giving a status update on Sami Zayn.

In other news, Scott Hall was at the WWE Performance Center last night. He tweeted the following:

Hall is scheduled to be at the big Madison Square Garden show next Friday.
