Update on the Hulk Hogan vs. Gawker lawsuit

Hulk Hogan is seeking $100 million in damages after Gawker released sex tapes that included himself and Bubba The Love Sponge’s then-wife Heather Clem.

The latest development, in this case, is that the judge, Pamela Campbell, recommended that both sides seek mediation instead of going to trial. The court is still reviewing the DVD material, and Campbell wants the sides to “go back to mediation” after they get to review the full DVD content, which is five tapes. Campbell added, “I’m not going to require it, but I think you’ll see why.”

If the two sides cannot reach a settlement deal, then the case will go to trial in March.
