There has been a misconception over who actually made the call to end the streak. The word is that Undertaker was actually supposed to win the match with Brock Lesnar but a few days before the show Vince McMahon changed his mind after he realized how bad Taker’s physical condition was and the realization that this could be his last match. So it was Vince’s call but keep in mind that although Taker went along with it, he would not do anything he didn’t want to do. In other words, Undertaker is not going to be forced to do anything he doesn’t want to do.
One person noted that Taker was talked into it. Another source said that Vince told him about it and Taker didn’t argue about the decision.
