Update on why Tyson Kidd was pulled from Total Divas

As we noted a few days ago on the site, Tyson Kidd (TJ Wilson) is not involved in the sixth season of Total Divas on the E! Network. Kidd noted on Twitter last week that he has been taken off the show by WWE. This led to a fan saying that she would have loved to see his injury situation explained on the show. Kidd replied, “Oh, believe me, I don’t think they want my situation explained. I’ll leave it at that for now.”

For those who may not remember, Kidd was seriously injured last year in a RAW dark match with Samoa Joe after taking Joe’s muscle buster. He ended up getting C1-C2 spinal fusion surgery, and doctors said that there was a 95 percent chance of death. While Kidd is still under contract with WWE, it’s very likely that his in-ring career is over.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Kidd was pulled from the show due to keeping details surrounding his injury private. Kidd reportedly hasn’t healed from the extremely serious neck injury, and WWE is worried that he will start talking about the night of his injury. If you recall, Bruce Hart talked about it in an interview last year and accused WWE of treating the situation with negligence. Kidd wants to speak about what happened but can’t due to him still being under contract with WWE.
