Veteran Superstar urges WWE to sign Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury was involved in one of the biggest heavyweight boxing bouts in recent memory on Saturday night (December 1, 2018) as he took the ring to battle it out with Deontay Wilder with the WBC heavyweight title up for grabs. As seen in the fight, which went down at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California and aired on PPV (pay-per-view), it was a close back and forth fight that saw both fighters have their moments. A big highlight reel moment in the fight saw Wilder drop Fury with a right-left combo that completely flattened Fury in the 12th and final round of this title fight.

Following the fight, there was some controversy due to how the judges sitting at ringside saw the fight. The scorecard saw 115–111 for Wilder while 114–112 for Fury, which meant that the fight ended in a split draw. Now, it appears that a rematch is going to happen sooner rather than later between these two top heavyweight stars.

To get to this point in his career, Fury had to make one heck of a comeback from boxing earlier this year after a three-year layoff. With his resurgence as one of boxing’s biggest stars, one WWE veteran Superstar believes that it’s the right time for WWE Chairman Vince McMahon to attempt to sign Fury and have him make an appearance or even work a match in the near future. That star is Goldust, who tweeted out the following on his Twitter account:
