Vickie Guerrero on never being asked to be part of photo shoots, politics, LayCool and more

Vickie Guerrero (now Vickie Benson) is the latest guest on Madusa’s “Full Throttle” podcast.

She was mostly positive about her run in WWE but she touched on a couple of regrets. She said that she would not get opportunities that some of the other girls got. “I guess being the bigger girl in the locker room, I never got opportunities that the other girls got. There was a lot of photo shoots. I never was asked to do one photo shoot for WWE. I never got asked to be part of any kind of campaign.” She added, “I just think that certain girls did things to be on those lists. I think that it was a lot of politics that girls did what they could to get those extra jobs.” Vickie said that she always kept her nose clean and she never caused any trouble for the company and she was always on time.

She talked about how it felt when 10 girls would be chosen for a photo shoot and Vickie would stay quiet and never caused problems but she is getting so much offered to her now that she is away from the wrestling business. She mentioned that there was a clothing line that wanted to do business with her but they could not reach her because they had to go through WWE.

She also talked about how she met her husband, working with LayCool, why she left WWE, whether she would consider going back, where her promo style came from, and much more. It’s a great podcast and a great interview and you can listen by clicking on the Soundcloud player below or click here to subscribe via iTunes.
