The viewership data is in for the re-airing of WrestleMania 35 on ESPN from Sunday night.
The broadcast averaged 421,000 viewers. It also drew a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demo and finished 70th for the night on cable. This show was held on April 7, 2019, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
There are no live sporting events in North America right now, which is part of the reason that this deal came together. This was the final WrestleMania to air on the network.
The WrestleMania 35 broadcast averaged 720,000 viewers with 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demo and finished the for the night on cable last Sunday. The WrestleMania 30 broadcast averaged 839,000 viewers with 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demo and finished 30th for the night on cable two weeks ago.
The broadcast featured the likes of Kofi Kingston defeating Daniel Bryan to win his first WWE Championship, and Seth Rollins defeated Brock Lesnar to win the Universal Championship.
In the main event, Becky Lynch defeated Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.
