Some fans may be shocked to learn that Vince McMahon has not been erased from WWE, despite the fact that he is no longer CEO after sexual assault/misconduct allegations.
McMahon appeared on tonight’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown during a long video segment that included clips of John Cena’s career. The segment included clips from Cena’s full-time days in WWE and clips from what he’s been doing in Hollywood.
The segment included a mix of old and new interviews, including Triple H with long hair praising Cena. Other clips were shot this year and included names like Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock talking about what Cena has accomplished so far in his career.
McMahon was shown and this may not mean anything but the timing is interesting considering that the Wall Street Journal reported this week that McMahon has told people that he plans on returning to WWE after getting “bad advice” from people who were telling him to step down.
