As many expected, WWE did not do much with most of the legends who were booked to appear last night on Monday Night Raw.
Most of the legends were briefly shown on the stage during the main event between WWE Universal Champion Drew McIntyre and Keith Lee and the match was basically a backdrop for Goldberg’s return so he could challenge McIntyre to a title match at the Royal Rumble.
PWInsider reports that Hulk Hogan was supposed to go to the ring so he could cut a promo but the decision was made for him to do a backstage promo for the cold open. PWInsider also noted that both Hogan and Ric Flair sat in the production meeting before Raw.
We were told that most of the legends flown in had no idea what they were doing until a couple of hours before the show.
For those of you wondering about Carlito and Candice Michelle, they reportedly had travel issues and Mick Foley is recovering from COVID-19.
