Usually, around December or early January, WWE has a pretty good idea what the card will look like for WrestleMania.
However, as of now, most of the card has not been decided on. The @WrestleVotes insider news account is reporting some Mania news from a source who has been with the company for over 10 years. That source said that they can’t remember a time where so little of the card has been decided upon by this time of the year. The source said that this is refreshing in some ways since it means multiple options are on the table but it’s also frustrating at the same time.
All I know is that there are plans for Roman Reigns to be featured in one of the main events and the word going around in the company is that it will be Reigns challenging Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship.
There is no word on what the plans for Brock Lesnar are but Cain Velasquez and Tyson Fury have been ruled out as opponents.
Ronda Rousey is expected back this year but I haven’t heard anything about her having a role at WrestleMania. That could change as soon as she lets the company know that she’s ready to return.
We should know a lot more about the WrestleMania plans during Royal Rumble weekend.
