WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon will be making a visit to the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida today where he will be having a meeting with the staff and coaches.
With reports coming out days in advance of his rare visit, it’s been previously reported that WWE has increased security at the facility.
Pwinsider.com reports that with McMahon not visiting the Performance Center very often, any who work within the PC and WWE NXT are privately concerned as in recent months, there have been several wrestlers and staff releases due to budget cuts.
The Performance Center is overseen by head trainer Matt Bloom. Shawn Michaels has earned a bigger role as a trainer over the last year. It was said that Michaels has been very progressive with the current evolution of the style inside the ring from younger wrestlers.
This is the same week where WWE had the mandatory workouts for main roster talent at the Performance Center as a way for them to get in better shape ahead of the company returning to live event touring.
We’ll pass along any news and notes regarding McMahon’s visit.
