Vince McMahon reportedly unhappy about Randy Orton and Tommaso Ciampa’s Twitter feud

It looks like the recent Twitter interaction between Randy Orton and Tommaso Ciampa is legit becuase the boss in WWE is not happy.

Their recent jabs at each other come across as an angle and one would think that this would lead to a match but that is not the case and Vince McMahon is reportedly unhappy. Keep in mind that wrestlers in NXT were told months ago not to rip on main roster talent unless it was something planned for a TV storyline.

Bryan Alvarez said the following on Wrestling Observer Live: “The impression I was given is that Vince McMahon isn’t very happy about this. For those of you who may not know there are rules and then there’s Vince. Vince hates it when guys or women or whatever do something that teases a match that he’s not gonna do, but if he starts booking something that doesn’t pay off it’s totally fine. There’s a different set of rules.”

As previously noted, Orton made a backhanded compliment to the NXT wrestlers after he watched TakeOver: In Your House. Orton made light of wrestlers who slap their leg during matches.

Ciampa fired back and that prompted Randy’s wife Kim to take her own jab at Ciampa. Click here to see the entire Twitter exchange.

Orton is a respected veteran and is unlikely to get in trouble but it’s unclear what any of this means for Ciampa.
