An autobiography from WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is in the works as New York Post’s Page Six reports McMahon “is shopping a memoir to publishers this week.” One source noted the book is “essentially [McMahon’s] memoir about building WWE.”
Page Six added: “The source adds that a deal could be imminent, explaining, ‘There have been other bios on him and WWE in the past, but this is very much his memoir told in his voice about his rise and life.'”
Literary agent Vigliano Associates is working with McMahon on the book. Although the media outlet reached out to WWE for a comment regarding this, they didn’t respond and Page Six called it a “seemingly very hush-hush project.”
There is a book titled “Ringmaster” on McMahon’s life in the works that is being written by Abraham Riesman for Simon & Schuster, but McMahon isn’t cooperating with Riesman on that book.
WWE previously announced a docuseries on the life of McMahon is being produced by the company and Netflix. WWE touted it will be the highest budgeted Netflix docuseries of all time. Stephanie McMahon stated in an interview last December that the series will be released sometime in 2022.
