WATCH: AJ Styles comments on the possibility of signing with WWE

AJ Styles spoke with The Tag Rope last week while he was overseas in the UK. During the interview, Styles was asked bout the possibility of heading to WWE. Styles had this to say:

“I’m always going to do what’s best for my family. That’s my first priority, my job is to take care of them, anyway that I can and wherever that business takes me that helps them then that’s where I’ll go.

Also in the interview, Styles said that he believes that it was a blessing in disguise that WWE did not sign him when WCW was acquired in 2001 because he was not ready to be on that grand stage at the time. Styles also said that he believes he is in his prime right now.

Styles will be backstage at the Royal Rumble and at this week’s WWE TV tapings.
