You can say what you want about the WWE’s booking but you have to give Superstars credit for what they do for fans outside of the ring.
On Friday, Alexa Bliss, Braun Strowman, Shinsuke Nakamura and Mike Rome were part of a Q&A panel at MegaCon in Orlando. The final question came from a young fan who revealed that she is currently in recovery after battling an eating disorder. Bliss knows her struggle well because she battled anorexia a few years ago.
Bliss told the young fan, “Don’t let anyone ever tell you that you can’t do anything. Ok? Because even though you’re struggling, I’ve been there. I remember having someone tell me that I can get through it and it didn’t have to define me. You’re beautiful and you cannot let anyone ever tell you what you can or can’t do. I’m so happy that you’re getting help and that you’re getting healthier because you’re beautiful inside and out and please do not let anyone determine your self-worth.”
She ended by giving the fan a hug as everyone stood up to give her a standing ovation. Check out the video below:
The video from an alternate angle has also been posted on WWE’s YouTube page:
Following the MegaCon appearance, Bliss tweeted the following: “This is why I love What I do . We’re able meet brave people like this girl . Thank you for sharing your story with me & all of us ?”
