On last week's show, Brodie was seen eating steak and he lost his cool when one of the Dark Order members sneezed in front of him. Some of you may have heard the stories about McMahon not being fond of people who sneeze in front of him. McMahon is also known to eat a lot of steak. Brodie was eating steak in last week's vignette.
During this week's vignette, Brodie made a point to let his followers know that they are to reference him as Mr. Brodie. He followed up by telling them that they must say the phrase "We are one." Again, he was not satisfied with the way they said it and then he proceeded to throw a glass against the wall. Long-time wrestling fans know that Vince McMahon has certain words that are to be said over and over on WWE shows and oftentimes, wrestlers and announcers are told to say things with a certain cadence.
In the final moments of the segment, Brodie appeared another jab McMahon's demands on his workers. This time, it appeared to be a reference to the long work hours put in by WWE employees. Countless former WWE employees have talked about the long work hours. Writers oftentimes will be up on conference calls late into the night and it's not uncommon for them to be up at 4 am writing scripts for Raw or SmackDown.
Brodie said, "Is there something going on at home that you want to tell me about?"
"Is there a reason you're tired? Is there a reason you're exhausted? Nothing in the world is open. There is no reason for you to yawn in my presence. Don't you understand what tiredness shows to people? It shows weakness."
"Are you weak? Right now you look weak to me. I can't have that within these doors, do you understand? Don't you ever yawn in my presence again."
Brodie went into great detail last week on Talk Is Jericho on his efforts to move up the ladder in WWE but his ideas were shot down. Click here for more on what he said on Jericho's podcast.
