WWE hosted its biggest house show of the year on Thursday night from Madison Square Garden in New York City, with a loaded lineup.
Among the top matches on the card were CM Punk vs. Ludwig Kaiser, the first time Punk had faced Kaiser. Punk and Seth Rollins are slated to meet on the January 6th premiere of Raw on Netflix.
In the main event, WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER went over Damian Priest in a steel cage to retain the title. After the match, GUNTHER, Kaiser, and Dominik Mysterio attacked Priest, only for Punk to run down in a towel to help Priest fight them off.
WWE will also run an event on Sunday with CM Punk vs. GUNTHER for the WWE World Heavyweight Title in Chicago.
