WATCH: Cody Rhodes Stars In A New Ad For Amazon’s “The Boys”

For years, there have been comparisons to Cody Rhodes and Homelander from Amazon Prime’s “The Boys.”

This is due to their look, with some fans thinking Rhodes took inspiration from the character as they both have blonde hair, something Rhodes had long before the series came about, to their patriotic red, white, and blue colors, to the cape, and more. The Homelander character is depicted as an egotistical and sadistic narcissist who shows a hero-like public image and cares very little about those he tries to protect.

Rhodes was featured in a new ad for the show, which is currently streaming on the platform. The ad features highlights from the latest season, with the camera showing Rhodes while panning up his cape.

Rhodes turned around and asked, ‘So, Homelander, what do you want to talk about?” A signature promo line from Rhodes. His eyes then turned into lasers like Homelander’s. Check it out below:
