As noted, after last Tuesday’s episode of Smackdown Live, WWE filmed a segment with Dolph Ziggler dressed as Sanders for a match with The Miz, who was dressed as a chicken and Ziggler got the best of him.
The two-minute commercial debuted globally at SummerSlam at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and you can watch it here:
The commercial will air during WWE Network broadcasts in 2016, concluding with Royal Rumble in 2017. The stunt plays off of KFC’s existing brand campaign where celebrities such as Jim Gaffigan, George Hamilton, and Darryl Hammond play the colonel.
