Former WWE star Enzo Amore, who is now known as nZo, is slated to go on the independent wrestling scene as he has his next match booked.
He’ll team up with Brian Pillman Jr to take on Ricky Morton and his son, Kerry, at a KFW event in Sevierville, TN on Friday.
In a recent video that he posted on Twitter, Amore not only touted that he would be touring the independent scene for the first time in his career, but he plans to take the WWE Cruiserweight Championship on the road with him.
If you recall, when Amore was released, he was Cruiserweight Champion. Thus, he still has possession of the title.
At the time, WWE vacated the title and later renamed the NXT Cruiserweight Championship as it is also defended on NXT in addition to 205 Live.
