Ahead of tonight's UFC 203 event in Cleveland, MMA Junkie caught up with some former WWE Superstars earlier this week to talk about CM Punk's fight. Alberto Del Rio said that Punk is one of his best friends in and out of the business and Punk will be fine. WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross was asked about his thoughts regarding Punk's fight. Ross said that MMA purists want Punk to get his ass kicked and the WWE fans want Punk to compete and fight hard and the cards will fall where they may.

They also caught up with current WWE Superstar Mark Henry. Henry said that he's all for this fight and he's proud of him and Punk is his good friend. Colt Cabana said that Punk had the balls to do it and follow his dreams despite all of the backlash. It's cool to see Cabana offer some support to Punk despite reports that he and Punk's friendship is over. Perhaps they've reconciled?

MVP said that he learned that Punk has amazing tenacity and his entire life he's made it a point to prove people wrong. MVP doesn't know if Punk will win but asked, "what if he does?" He hopes Punk wins so that all the haters can...well, we can't write what he said here but check out the video below.
