There’s been tons of speculation on Finn Balor’s future in NXT, especially during the last few days. Is he moving up to Raw or Smackdown or is he staying with NXT? As noted before, Balor was not at the recent NXT tapings and he is not scheduled for NXT TakeOver: Back To Brooklyn…at least not according to what they taped on Wednesday.
At Saturday night’s NXT live event in Louisville, KY, Balor addressed the fans and said that he has no idea what is happening on Tuesday and if he did know then his dad would be on a flight to the United States so he could watch him get drafted.
Balor is likely telling the truth and I doubt anyone knows what their status is. For example, during WrestleMania weekend, The Vaudevillains were under the impression that they were headed back to Florida after the weekend but plans changed and they were told that they would be moving up to the main roster, effective immediately. If Balor is moving up to the main roster (and it seems likely), then he will likely get told on Monday or very early on Tuesday so he has time to fly out to the show.
I do know that WWE has some surprises planned and everyone that is currently on  the main roster will be at Smackdown on Tuesday so it’s very unlikely that they will know their status until it’s announced to the world on live TV. That’s how they did things in previous years.
