WATCH: Finn Balor and Triple H return to in-ring action on Friday night

Triple H and Finn Balor returned to the ring at the WWE live event in Buffalo, NY on Friday night. Balor teamed with Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho to take on Triple H, Samoa Joe, and Kevin Owens.

This is Balor’s first match since suffering a shoulder injury at SummerSlam in August. Triple H is wrestling on select live events to prepare for his match with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. Team Balor got the win in Buffalo.

Balor had to vacate the Universal Championship after his injury in August so there is a ready-made storyline for him to challenge for that title at some point when they are ready to insert him in the main event mix.

Balor will be back on the road going forward and he is scheduled for WrestleMania so I would not be shocked if he returns to TV on Monday Night Raw.
