The first trailer for Ric Flair's 30 for 30 special on ESPN has been released online. Obviously, the documentary will cover his wrestling career and post-wrestling career and they will go beyond the "Nature Boy" persona that fans see on TV.
They interviewed a bunch of people including his first wife Leslie, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, members of the original Four Horsemen, Ricky Steamboat, Sting, Mick Foley, and The Undertaker...just to name a few. As of last month, they still had not been able to get an interview with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson but he may be in the film as well if they can track him down. They will also include some never-before-seen footage provided by his first wife.
Apparently, they will cover some of the legendary stories that we've heard about him including the claim that he slept with Halle Berry. I believe they've spent over a year getting footage of Flair and it will include some backstage WWE material as well so it should be good. The film, directed by Rory Karpf, is set to premiere in early 2017.
